Stardust Circus is a Belarusian Glam Rock band formed in Minsk in 2009. It was founded by Stevie Black. He was joined by another talented guitarist and songwriter J.J. That is when the first material started to appear and the band’s sound started to shape. The positions of the rhythm section were filled by drummer Max Impreza and bassist Alex Coyd. The line-up was completed by a great frontman and a true rock‘n’roller Dave Loretti. The band’s sound is often described as Glam Rock of the XXI century. It is a loud and explosive mixture of true rock’n’roll embodying the best traits of old-school flavoured with new tendencies. The visual concept also became an important characteristic of the band. It was inspired by the 1930s Red Army looks with moderate addition of make-up typical of Glam Rock scene. Stardust Circus has performed intensively throughout the years of its existence in the most popular rock clubs of Minsk (Jolly Roger, Doodah King, Reactor) and beyond, won several bands’ competitions (Musical Sparring 2, Heavy Nice Day 7, RockEmotion, Emergenza 2012), were the supporting act of Russian guitar virtuoso Sergey Tabachnikov, and headlined Spring Rock Fest 2011 in Belarus and Rock Elections in Russia. Having acquired the reputation of one of the best bands in country, Stardust Circus finally released their first self-produced long-awaited LP Monkeys of XXI. Its mixing and mastering was done in Seattle, USA. “We had to change, like, 3 different recording studios, all
