Unique medieval sound from modern Poland: Works of Stara Lipa ('Old Linden') are unique combination of sounds from the old days and tradiotional Polish music, but also Scandinavia, Western and Southern Europe. Presented are tunes and songs from Kurpie, Mazovia, Zywieckie Beskids, also castyllian cantigs, french dances, flemish, breton and swedish sacral music. Songs aren't traditional reconstruction but are enriched with imagination and artistic sensitivity of young artists. Stara Lipa owes the characteristic, acoustic sound to the use of such unique instruments like ocarina, violins, saz, psalterium and hurdy-gurdy.
