Star Monarchy, the project of bassist Ray Riendeau (James Labrie, Halford), has enlisted a number of musicians to appear on its forthcoming debut album, Volume 1. While Rody Walker (Protest The Hero) and Travis Orbin (ex-Periphery, Sky Eats Airplane) have been tapped for the project's lineup to record the debut record, the effort will include guest appearances from Dan Tompkins (ex-Tesseract) and Francesco Artusato (All Shall Perish), amongst others. This will be music produced and written by Ray and will be of various styles such as metal, modern rock, progressive, etc. and features some of the best musicians on the planet earth....and mars....
