From 1988-1993, Lancaster PA's STAND UP toured and played shows all around the country, performing with the likes of BAD RELIGION, JAWBREAKER, SICK OF IT ALL, GORILLA BISCUITS, NATION OF ULYSSEES, NAKED RAYGUN, and more. The band released two full-length albums, 1992's 'Words in Motion' and 1994's posthumous 'The Soundtrack of Experience', as well as numerous 7" singles and compilation appearances. Thanksgiving morning of 1993, guitarists Paul Thibault and Andrew Breslin tragically lost their lives in an automobile accident. Sunday, February 27th, 1994, the Chameleon Club in Lancaster PA hosted a memorial show for Andy and Paul, donating all proceeds to ensure the release of the band's final record.
