Stan Ruffo was born in Los Angeles, CA. He played mostly in Southern and Central California through most of the 80's and 90's. As of 2009, you'll find him playing mostly in the Portland / Vancouver area in the NW. You'll hear many tails of his great harmonica playing, but he is also a reasonably talented tenor sax player, and song writer. And while his recordings are of his own material and most of the time it's blues, many times in live performance you'll hear him knock out some great jazz, soul, and rock'n roll as well.
