Strangeland has a unique, raw and sound with tight grooves that incorporates rock, metal, punk, and stoner rock. Most of their songs go through distinct changes, encorporating anything from blues to catchy punk and thrash. Their songs usually have several different riffs, both melodic and grungy. The band went through line-up changes, which included a hip-hop vocalist. At one point, the band was down to just the rhythm section, JoseyB and John (Butch Bobcat). They added Carmen on guitar and after months of playing instrumental found and added Damon on vocals. With a new sound and energy, the band feels rejuvenated and is ready to rock.
