Squid 9 is a solo project, better known as local music veteran Raimund Marasigan. Squid 9 is a hip-hop influenced act that started out as a studio act, Marasigan calls his home studio "The Squid Crib". And it was soon performing live shows as well. Squid 9 released four albums: "Deleted Scenes", "Kraken Modular", "Ink Jet" and the latest 2014 Release, "Origamidi". Squid 9 is also part of Electronica Manila and often collaborated with the late Wolfmann+. Squid 9 Live: (during Kraken Modular days), is composed of Raimund Marasigan on samplers, drum machine and Chaos Pad), Vin Dancel (Twisted Halo and Peryodiko) and Kathy Meneses (Daydreamcycle) on vocals, Buddy Zabala (The Dawn, Twisted Halo & Cambio) on bass, keyboards and samplers and Rann Golamco (Drip, Porta, and formerly of Mojofly) on guitars; And 2014 Squid 9 Live line up (Origamidi days), is composed of Raimund Marasigan, Paolo Peralta(Turbo Goth) on guitars and vocals and Shinji Tanaka(Gaijin, also a band together with Raimund Marasigan) on drums.
