Splat! were formed in 1981 in Long Eaton, Derbyshire: Gary de Banke (Guitar); Mark Grebby (Bass); Dave Parsons (Voice); Paul Walker (Drums). A Foolish Crawl also appeared on a Derby compilation cassette called "Derby Bhaji" - produced by local recording studio Square Dance Studios. "Eve" was released on a Hits And Corruption 1 sampler. "Mistook" appeared on the Ron Johnson Records Sampler "The First After Epiphany" (ZRON21). The band played a few gigs around the country and a few shows abroad - including a show at the Melkweg in Amsterdam that was recorded live by VPRO Radio.
