Spiritual Decay is a post-hardcore band formed in late 2023 by Brazilian musicians now based in Lisbon: H. Reis (rhythm guitar and vocals), Thiago Di Fonzo (drums), André Pamplona (lead guitar), and Helio Suzuki (bass). Emerging from shared experiences within the underground scene, the band draws heavily from the raw emotional intensity of Washington D.C.’s Revolution Summer era. Balancing vulnerability and aggression, Spiritual Decay focuses on honesty and emotional presence. Reis and Thiago also play together in Grand Wreck, while Helio is a member of Questions, reinforcing the band’s strong ties to the underground community.
