Spirit Desire is a Canadian indie rock/emo/punk band from Toronto, Ontario. Initially formed in 2014 as a two-piece consisting of guitarist Michelle Ferrer and drummer Kai Lumbang on shared vocal duties, they released their first demo on August 30th, 2015 and played their first show in October of that year. This was followed by a full-length album, entitled "Adrian", released on November 24th, 2017. After having been heavily featured as a guest on "Adrian", vocalist Sam Grace was formally added to the group during the band's Mississauga album release show a little over a week later. The group was then joined by bassist Ken Wilson, who became acquainted with the band during their Toronto album release show in January of 2018, and synth player/vocalist Jon Iñaki, who joined in March of 2020 after featuring as a guest and songwriter during preliminary recording sessions for the band's second album. In preparation for their second album, the band released 2 promo tapes ("Promo 2020" and "Houndstooth Promo") and a collection of live recordings ("Live 2020") between 2020 & 2021.
