S. M. C. was a band from Pula, Croatia that played from 1996 till 2001. The band never broke up but just stop playing... The first show we played was with Hiatus from Belgium. The last show was probably in Velika Gorica near Zagreb, Croatia. Band probably had more shows than rehersals, but anyway, they managed to make a tour with Fakofbolan in a few squats in France and Belgium (they were stopped at the swiss border). The recording that you can find here was made for the split tape "Hopeful About The Future" with the grindcore band Desinence Mortification also from Pula. The complete material can be found on the Montepardiso Netlabel, a module of the Monteparadiso Collective. On the netlabel you can find a lot of other bands all under a Creative Commons license. Andjeri now sings in Bolesno Grinje, Maske plays guitar in Zmanjana Dica, Leonid is an architect, and Rosho coordinates the activities in Monteparadiso and teaches sociology. The song Mass-Media is from Enklava, the band in which Rosho had played.
