Gothic rock band from England. Simon, Alison, Jamie, Steve. Originally formed as a solo project for Simon M. After 7 years together, Children on stun break up, playing their last concert at the Underworld in Camden London, to a sell-out audience. 1999 Simon M, Ex-guitarist of C.O.S starts work on his debut solo album. Although there was no solid band line-up, Simon gathered friends for guest vocalists. Full time member Alison Gann [Ex Felo-de-se], along with Nick Blewitt [Ex Felo-de-Se]. Ex-Children on Stun men Neil Ash and Kyle Whipp. Another temporary member joined the line up, Gez Donnelly former guitarist from the band the Godfathers. 2000 The debut album finally comes out, titled TIRED & BIZARRE. Its a eclectic mix of tracks with a radical departure of styles and sounds. - Tried and Bizarre is released - CDLP - M&A Music Art. 2001 Snails Rave CDSingle - M&A Musicart. 2002 Simon M starts recording the second SPARES album asking Alison Gann to become the bands full time vocalist and together they start working with ex Stun man Neil Ash this time as producer [trailertrASH]. Although around 6 tracks were unfinished demos the sessions were shelved due to personal/musical difficulties between artist and producer. 2003 Kyle Whipp joins the band as a premanent member. Recording sessions were started for the album 'DOWNLOAD'. The album is a collection of demos and out takes from the aborted TrailertrASH sessions, together with demos from later sessions.
