Spanish Moss is a Psychedelic/Space Rock group that splits it's time between Santa Cruz, CA and Brooklyn, NY. Their debut ep, KELP, was released on cassette in July 2012 by BURGER RECORDS and Under The Gun. KELP was also the vinyl debut release for Spot-On Sound, a garage rock/psychedelic label located in Sacramento, CA. Amongst their peers, Spanish Moss differentiated themselves by staying un-compromisingly loyal to the beat of 60's heavy psychedelia. Drawing heavily from Blue Cheer, Pink Floyd along with Dead Meadow & My Bloody Valentine, Spanish Moss has crafted a signature sound that blogs have described as psychedelic bluesgaze. The lineup includes Ian Caddick(lead guitar), Tom Madden(rhythm guitar/vocals), Tav Palumbo(drums/vocals) & Jesse Perez(bass). The band is expected to release a 7inch single in 2012 before recording their full length debut in 2013.
