Spaceman Fantastiques is George Hoefer's chiptune branch in his musical tree. Started in early 2010 with friend Zain Husain as a side project/concept album about the sub-planets in the solar system, the project was put on hiatus and the name was adopted for music that started being made in the chiptune style by George. Two albums have been made about a main character "Namec Aps" and his struggle to overcome a tragic fate of being stuck in a time loop. The albums are able to repeat into themselves as well as loop into each other. The idea for the album came to George in a dream, and once the first album was finished the second album was already being started and the story in place. Both albums, as well as a b-sides album, can be found on http://spacemanfantastiques.bandcamp.com George is currently taking a break from Spaceman Fantastiques to focus on other projects, but has no intention of stopping his work under the name.
