Spacehotel is English solo musician, singer & songwriter Paul Timson who writes, produces & engineers all of Spacehotel's music. Influences include Blur, Depeche Mode, Duran Duran & Mansun A talk with Damon Albarn at a Blur after show party (1995) inspired Timson to continue making music, as he had been since he was a child in the 80s, for the love of it. That night, after explaining he was a musician just starting out, Timson half-jokingly asked Albarn if he had any songwriting tips, Albarn replied with a smile "Just write songs..." In 2014 Spacehotel's 1980's homage "Rewind 25" was featured in a scene in the show "RUSH" (Tom Ellis). In 2016 the song was featured in a party scene in s3 e1 of ABC's "The Goldbergs" with over 8 Million viewers on broadcast! The 2024 remake of "Rewind 25" (originally released in 2009 as a B-side to the song "Dead Radio") is the last of 11 non-album singles that have arrived over the years, starting in 2017 with "Stereo Girl" An album of all new/unreleased material is currently being recorded and will be released in 2026.
