Soweto Spiritual Singers is a 27 strong member vocal ensemble, performing both in accappella and Instruments in showcasing Africa and the Diaspora Spiritual, Folk and Traditional Music and Dance. Our Music is truly inspirational, a shout of Joy, a towering onslaught of exuberance with earthy rhythms, rich harmonies to uplift the soul. A truly ULTIMATE SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCE Soweto Spiritual Singers is under the Direction if it’s Founders and Creators Nkululeko Vilakazi, Vicky Vilakazi, Thabo Ledimo and Gift Vilakazi-Ledimo. It has travelled extensively around the World and Performed at the first ever FIFA 2010 Soccer World Cup Opening Ceremony in Johannesburg to the cheers of billion people around the Globe. A true celebration and unifying sounds as we sing all this genres in one accord and voice, with the fusion of the township culture and its influence in our modern Spiritual music, all this forms part of our 90 minute journey of praise as we dance, clap, shout and ululate. Soweto Spiritual Singers is a client–based Theatre Production providing tailor-made Entertainment for any occasion; we offer our service to Government (Official Performances, National Anthem e.t.c), Theatres (Touring), Corporate (Corporate Functions), and Charity Organization (Fund-Raising e.t.c).
