Artist
Active in Country Music from the release of the Self-Titled debut in 1985 to their Greatest Hits package in 1991, they were dogged by the Country Media about their Rock 'n Roll Roots. Original members of Souther Pacific included John McFee, Keith Knudsen (both formerly of The Doobie Brothers) Tim Goodman, Jerry Scheff and Glen D. Hardin. Stu Cook, formerly of Creedence Clearwater Revival, joined the group for the second album "Killbilly Hill," replacing Jerry Scheff. Solid and danceable rock tinged Country that fit in well during the latter 80's. Hits included, "Honey, I Dare You" and "New Shade of Blue" which were on their most successful album "Zuma."
