South Club is a South Korean band. The line-up consists of Jang Wonyoung (장원영; drums), Kim Euimyung (김의명; bass), Kang Kunku (강군구; guitar) and Nam Taehyun (남태현; vocalist). The latter is the CEO of the agency the group's under, South Buyers Club. Member Choi Yoonhee (최윤회) left the band approximately in September 2017. Nam Taehyun has announced that he will be recruiting members for his new band via his Tumblr on January the 6th, 2017. In the post, he has stated that he is looking for people who can play instruments and that there are no restrictions "in age, nationality" for the members of his future band. The line-up has been established on February the 10th. 35 days after formation South Club has given their first gig as a co-ed group in one of Korea's night clubs. On May the 19th Taehyun has confirmed that South Club released their first single Hug Me on May the 26th. The band released their debut mini-album "90" in June, all the tracks have been written and produced by Nam Taehyun. On July the 9th, the band released their first single "아니" (No) In September 2017 fans have noticed that Yooni is never in pictures with South Club anymore; soon after that the band performed at festivals as four which pretty much confirmed the rumours about her having left, although the agency never released the official statement regarding her departure.
