Sounding the Deep was created in 2007 by Kansas City based guitarist and percussionist David Williams. His solo debut album Night was released in '08, followed by Glacier, released '09 on Justin Wright's ( Expo 70 ) Sonic Meditations label. Williams is now joined by percussionist Mike Vera bringing a new dimension to the layers of warm sounds that are Sounding the Deep. The now two man project will record a new album this fall promising to take Sounding the Deep to the next level.
