There are multiple artists with the name 'Sound Factory'. The may refer to: 1. Sound Factory (also credited as SoundFactory) A Swedish house dance music act by Swedish DJ remixer and music producer Emil Hellman with singer James Gicho (credited as St. James) on vocals. The duo was known for its number-one dance single "Good Time" mixed with StoneBridge. Singles "Understand This Groove" and "2 the Rhythm" also reached success on the charts which led Hellman and Gicho to collaborate on a full-length debut album Product. After providing vocals for singles and an album with Hellman, Gicho ultimately separated with Hellman in 1994. Hellman continued with SoundFactory as a solo act. 2. Sound Factory, a one time project and alias under the artist Kurtis Mantronik. "Cuban Gigolo" was the only track produced under Mantronik's 'Sound Factory' alias and it was released on the Black Havana compilation. 3. Sound Factory is an Italian pop band. The band consist of Julie P. (vocals & programming) and Giovanni βMJβ Signoretti (piano & keyboards). During a musical and poetry event in Rome in the summer of 2002, pianist Signoretti showcased together with singer/songwriter and composer Julie P. for the first time as an acoustic duo. Their collaboration led the pair to work on different musical backgrounds and creating new songs, thus giving birth to the 'Sound Factory' project.
