In 1999 Paul Roberts released his first solo album Faith? which is also the birth of the Faithband. They started touring in 2000 and released their second studio album Self Discovery in 2001. In 2002 they asked people to promote several gigs which initiated the Peoples' Acoustic Faith Tour. In autumn 2002 the band went on the road again for the Set In Stone Tour. The third studio album The Pressure Sensitive was released in 2003. 2003 saw the band hit the road for the Wrong Connection Tour. In 2004 the band changed their name to Soulsec! Guitarists who worked with the band since 1999 were John Ellis, Bob Elliott and Baz Warne. This year Andy Ellis joined the band on guitar. As well as touring with the band and working with other projects they released four singles, many live albums and two DVDs. The latest release is the DVD Tracks - Days of View which features highlights from the second night at the Kings Head, Fulham 2003, the acoustic MP3tv sessions and a huge selection of clips from various gigs since 2000. A new single titled "Sad Soft Lullaby" will be released in Britain in October following a nationwide press/ radio campaign accompanied by a 'lo-fi' video.
