Soulfire is an acoustic rock band originally from Cape Town, South Africa. Building on the success of their debut album, the band has just released its second album entitled 'The Road Ahead'. The 15 songs featured on the album range from commentary on the cross-Atlantic slave trade and liberation struggles in Latin America and Africa to songs of love and the simplicity of being. Produced by renowned Cape Town producer Mathew Davison, the album shows growth from the band's debut with the introduction of the lead guitar skills of Gavin Coetzee as well as bass guitar and drums being featured more extensively. The album is not yet available internationally but you can listen to the first single Change the World on this site.
