Sophie Vaillancourt (born February 18, 1986 in Quebec) is a Canadian singer. She released her first album, Histoires de filles et de garçons, on October 2012. Multidisciplinary artist, Sophie Vaillancourt had a passion for music at an early age. Violin, piano, flute, oboe, guitar ... Sophie touches everything with relish and talent. Her singing career began during his participation in the reality TV show Star Academy 2009. As part of this program, she participated in the publication of an album, Star Academy 2009, on which she sang "Et dans 150 ans", a song written by Raphael. In December 2011, Vaillancourt joined the musical The Blues d'la Métropole, embodying the star Marie-Chantale. Also in 2011, she completed her Bachelor of preschool and primary education at the University of Montreal. The year 2012 is under the sign of creation to Sophie Vaillancourt.
