Sophie Sumner (born January 15, 1990) is a British fashion model. She first came into the public eye as the runner-up of Britain's Next Top Model, Cycle 5 and later won America's Next Top Model, Cycle 18 over Laura LaFrate. Sumner studied at Headington School in Oxford. She deferred her degree at Exeter University to focus on modelling. She is close friends with British actress, Emma Watson, having gone to school with her , and is the girlfriend of Rory Cottam, the lead vocalist of The Cheek. Sophie's debut single, 'Aiming For You' is set to be released soon on iTunes, her Vogue Italia photos are due to be featured in a a summer issue of the publication, and her Covergirl Ad will be featured on billboards all over the US, as will her ad for the America's Next Top Model perfume, Dream Come True. Sumner has stated that she is moving to the States and is currently deciding whether to move to New York or Los Angeles.
