Sophia Charaï, born in Casablanca, is a Moroccan singer, photographer, actress, and stylist. She moved to Paris at the age of 17 to study architecture. There she discovered Parisian jazz clubs. There she met Mathias Duplessy, multi-instrumentalist, but above all guitarist, composer and producer who would become her husband. She creates her own style of music inspired by jazz, blues, flamenco, Maghreb melodies, Indian rhythms, Brazilian music and other influences.
