Formed in March 2008, Sonic Weapon Fence is the brainchild of Patrick Ehlers (bass, vocals, keyboard), Pete Pfarr (drums, background vocals), and Pete Snyder (guitar, vocals). Inspired by Star Trek novelty bands like No Kill One and Warp 11, SWF writes and performs songs about ABC’s hit television show, LOST. Drawing on musical styles from pop-rock to 90s grunge to Willy Nelson country, SWF focuses on quick, fun songs about humorous aspects of LOST. During the airing of the fourth season of LOST, SWF recorded and released The Oceanic Six, a free digital EP, and began performing in the greater Chicago-land area. In November 2009, SWF released their first full-length, self-produced album featuring thirteen original songs. In 2009, Jason Hetelle joined the band on guitar and background vocals.
