Songparts was meant to be a project for stock music and production music but evolved into being a mixed genre project. The songwriter and producer Håkan Lindén releases all music that don't fit in into his other projects, under this name. Some of the genres included are; Chiptunes, Techno, Piano music, acoustic guitar music. The first single "Our Friends The Martians" was officially released to streaming media in 2018, but songs like "Morning Routine" has been online since 2016 on different song licensing sites.
