Since 2002 Something Once Sacred, formerly Sounds of Silence, has been paying dues. In the past 9 years they've conquered member changes, dealt with the dark side of the industry, and rose out of the ashes stronger than ever. They refuse to be denied in a business full of politics and no-talent artists. In their darkest days they found purpose and are determined now more than ever to share it and take the music world by storm. Over the years Something Once Sacred has participated in and won countless competitions and battle of the bands including Emergenza, Bodog Battle of the Bands, Kenya RockFest, and many more. Since their formation they have shared the stage with many acclaimed national acts such as Puddle of Mudd, Finger Eleven, Saliva, Crossfade, 10 Years and many other great national and indie bands. By mixing very personal and emotional lyrics with their eruptive yet melodic hooks, Something Once Sacred has set out to make a profound mark in the music industry. Past experiences, relationships, lost loved ones, and hope for something more are just a few of the topics of which they use to reach their listeners. They continue to thrive in the southeastern music scene, bringing a fresh breath of rock and roll air to a country where real music has been put on the back burner for some time now. If you’re into melodic, in your face, rock and roll music then Something Once Sacred is the fix you’ve been looking for! User-contributed text is available under the Creative Comm
