Sofia Ska Skins is a bulgarian ska band formed spontaniuosly in 2004 at the club O'Shipka, where three friends gathered for a beer (Anton - T.V.U., Svetlio - T.V.U. and Rosen) and talked about the idea of the last one to start a ska band. They hoped that in this way much more people would get to know the skinhead culture and the skinhead society. The band started with: Rosen - vocals, Svetlio - guitar and Anton - bass. Consiquently Svetlio found a drummer - Delian and a double-bass player - Velin. Later they decided to add a brass-section to the group, which was really hard to manage. They found a trumpetist (Stefcho), who was then replaced by Pepi from the National Musical School. Because Pepi was very occupied with the school, they had to look for a new trumpetist. So Kiro and Toshko joined the band. After one year of having fun at the gigs, Delian left because of personal reasons. Right now the line-up is: Rosen - vocals, Svetlio - guitar and vocals, Velin - bass and vocals, Stefan - drums, Kiro - trombone and Toshko - trumpet.
