Social Sickness started in February 2006 as "The Rejekted" , named after the gang of hardcore kids in the Penelope Spheeris movie "Suburbia". The original line-up was Nick on vocals, Randy on guitar, Cord on bass, and Charley playing drums. In a 3 month time span they recorded a 7 song demo and played 2 shows. Soon after they dropped Cord from bass and changed their name to Social Sickness, playing their third show without a bass player. Soon enough they brought in long time friend Allan on bass and played 3 shows as that line-up then soon moving Charley to 2nd guitar and adding Curtis on drums for only one show opening for D.I. at a pub. Since then SS is now a four piece band without Charley on 2nd guitar. A 7" was released on Flat Black Records in February 2008. In april of 2009 Social Sickness played their last show and released a final record, Slash and Burn EP User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
