Soccer Team is a recording project of Ryan Nelson (Routineers, ex-Beauty Pill, ex-Most Secret Method) and Melissa Quinley. Ryan works for Dischord Records, and Melissa is a former employee of the same Washington, DC label. The band's first album, 'Volunteered' Civility & Professionalism, was recorded in Ryan's basement. The collaboration originally was not intended for commercial release. However, it was released by Dischord on August 28, 2006.
