In 2011, a little band called So Long Davey from San Diego, California did some really big things. After the release of the music video for their single “Six Feet Down”, MTV caught wind of the band. The music mogul posted a Buzzworthy blog praising the video and unique styling of David Vaughn, James Austin, and Michael Behymer’s rock project. The article raved over the elements of the video and called So Long Davey “very much alive”. And alive, they were. In the following months, Alternative Press Magazine, Kings of A&R, Substream, and more were filling the web and store shelves with enthusiasm over the band. “Six Feet Down” subsequently reached the #1 spot on iHeart Radio’s NEW! Discover & Undiscovered chart. The band held at number one for 28 weeks as fans put the song on repeat and constant request. Now in 2012, So Long Davey is back, recording their first full-length album. The leading single, “Making Out”, was released to fans on March 26th, 2012 and publicly on April 4th, 2012. The track features pop rock guitars, slamming dance drums, and a combo of raspy verse vocals mixed with a pop punk chorus and Little Richard-like rock n roll interludes. The band is currently recording their album at Big Fish Studios in Encinitas, , famed for recording Blink-182’s first hit album Dude Ranch. With an album ready to a hit the streets in the Summer of 2012 and a wide range of promising accolades, the world is getting ready for the storm So Long Davey is about to rain down. User-
