The latter was re-issued as a 12" dance single on various labels including Island Records. Snuky moved to New York in the early 80's and was a regular at CBGB's and the downtown gallery scene. In 1982, he released the Babylon Under Pressure LP on Chris Stein's Animal Records. His band consisted of: Snuky Tate - vocals/guitar Juan Naux Maciel - guitar (briefly in Richard Hell and the Voidoids) Mike Allison - bass Billy Ficca (formerly of Television and other bands) - drums Snuky Tate appeared in New York Beat Movie (aka "Downtown 81"), and he also appeared on TV Party (the underground NYC cable show). 2) A San Francisco Hardcore Punk band with an african american lead singer, with members of SF's Mutants.
