Formed in Providence, RI but now split between Providence and Berkeley,CA - Snake Apartment unleash sounds similar to Pissed Jeans, Clockcleaner, and Drunks With Guns... mixed with rampant Greg Ginn-esque guitar histronics. Heavy 90's noise rock influence as well, taking on elements from the heavier side of bands on labels like Amphetamine Reptile, Sub Pop, Touch & Go, Trance Syndicate, PCP, etc. Members have spent time in various bands. Most recently bass player Erik Hopp, formerly of Wolves, stepped out. Ben Barnett from Dropdead and Armageddon Shop is now playing bass. Chris Andries on drums is also co-owner of Armageddon Shop. Vocalist Brian Oakley runs the Corleone Records label as well as playing with Ry Wharton in another side project called Showers, who are soon to have a release on Load Records . Ry Wharton runs the Skulltones label and Twonicorn tape label. They have released a 12" on Parts Unknown, a split 12" with Work/Death on Corleone, and now a split 7" with Landed co-released by Parts Unknown and Corleone.
