There we were, all living in December of 2002. My memory of that time was of an under-aged and particularly wired Aaron Crane huddled over his beer, in a dark corner of a Charlottetown bar. He had that look on his face. Everyone who knows him, knows the look. The one he gets when he’s excited and about to share. As some DJ spun The Streets’ “Original Pirate Material” he leaned in on his older brother Ryan and said “I’m serious, let’s start a band. We’ll call it Smothered In Hugs” He was serious.
