Smor One is a hip-hop artist from Berlin who has been part of the hip-hop scene for a long time. He chose his stage name in connection with his activities as a graffiti artist. His interest in rap music developed as a teenager, listening to artists such as Mike Jones, Three 6 Mafia, Busta Rhymes, Lil Jon, Slim Thug, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and Eminem. Born and raised in Berlin, he is active in the German rap scene and describes his musical roots as shaped by his surroundings. His career began in the early 2000s, performing at freestyle battles at the Royalbunker alongside artists like MC Bogy, Rako, and Duell. Smor One grew up in Steglitz and early on formed connections with G-Hot and Tony D, who were part of the former Aggro Berlin label. In 2007, he gained significant stage experience during the "Schluss mit Lustig Tour" with Kaisa and Basstard. In 2010, he contributed features on various mixtapes and albums. In 2019, he released the single "Angst" with Sentino. Today, he works as an independent songwriter and certified audio producer. His music is characterised by a unique style and recognisable sound. In 2022, he released the track "Tony sagt" in collaboration with G-Hot and Tony D, as well as "Tony Montana 80er Drama".
