Smeeagain is a musician and producer known for his chillhop and lo-fi beats. Smeeagain's journey in music took an interesting turn after his rock band disbanded. He embarked on a world travel adventure, exploring cities in Asia and South America. During his travels, Smeeagain stumbled upon an old, used SP404 sampler at a pawn shop in western Melbourne, Australia. Originally purchased with the intention of creating backing beats for his new rock songs, Smeeagain soon discovered the meditative qualities of crafting hip-hop-esque beats with a chill hop and lo-fi aesthetic. On September 14, 2019, Smeeagain released his debut single titled "Study Beat" through the record label Beats Broke. This release marked the beginning of his musical career as a solo artist, showcasing his signature blend of laid-back and atmospheric sounds.
