There are three artists named Smalltown Heroes: 1. A rock band from the Netherlands. 2. An Indie/Rock band from Sunderland, UK 3. An American alt country-rock band from Indiana 1. A rock band from the Netherlands. They started on april 30th 2012. The band consists of Singer / guitarist Joris Oosterhof, guitarist Sjors Evers drummer Jordy Hoekstra. Although the members of the band are fairly young, they are starting to grow a name in the Netherlands very rapidly. His first band was The Toy Dolls and later also The Troubleshooters,they played Ramones covers and also wrote their own material of 80's punkrock. They released their debut single "Moral judgement " in 1995 while supporting Jeff Healey on his British tour and Kerrang voted it the single of the week. The highly rated debut album "Human soup " which the single is taken from came out in 1996 to critical acclaim. This was followed by the album "Atomic Cafe ' " and they also recorded the worlds first cd-rom single called "Moral Judgement ". This received gold awards in the music and Computer press for innovation and originality. The band toured continually for 10 years around Europe gaining cult status in their native North East and playing with bands such as Terrorvision, Little Angels, The Stranglers, Stoppok, Stereophonics, The L
