SMALLTAPE was formed as the solo project by a musician / sound designer Philipp NESPITAL. He always works in his studio in collaboration with some guest musicians such as Otis Sandsjö (tenor saxophone, ex-Lucia Cadotsch Trio), Christopher Zitterbart (guitars, ex-Mt. Amber) or Stephan Pankow (guitars, ex-Toxic Smile), and on stage with Manuel Humpf (drums), Alexandra Praet (bass, keyboards, backing voices), and Flavio De Giusti (guitars, backing voices).
