Slylab started out in May 2005. It consists of Dean Genial Iqbal (programming, synth, keyboards) Devita Dwi Ayu Anggraini (voice) dan Muhammad Rayhan Sudrajat (guitar, voice), performing ambient music blended with rather gloomy, dreamy, and darkwave, integrating touches of IDM and glitch adorned with elements of analog guitar, female voice, and male voice, with the latter two functioning either as vocal layers or lead voice.
