South Australian 6-piece Slowmango, who create raw, progressive, and genre-exploring grooves which combine global musical influences with a buffet of psychedelia, funk, jazz, and progressive rock. In mid-2022 Slowmango converted a picturesque shack on the Fleurieu Peninsula into a fully-fledged recording studio, where they immersed themselves for 10 glorious days and recorded their upcoming debut album Hypercolour Miscellaneous. With an array of instruments at their disposal, the band dove deep into the songs and jams they had spent the last three years writing and rehearsing across stages in Australia, emerging with a nine-track album of eclectic and fine-tuned songs which explore a diverse spread of textures, genres flavours from across the globe.
