Artist
Slow Down Cadet is a bedroom recording artist from the UK from around 1998, who recorded a handful of tracks on a single demotape (and a single contribution to the washer@kuci.org 'Slint tribute' tape "This Recording Is Meant To Be Listened To On Vinyl", a cover of Aerial M's "Dazed And Awake") and then disappeared into obscurity. However recently, Slow Down Cadet seems to have re-emerged, with a live show in 2010 and a new direction involving multilayered live guitar and live sequencing effects. No new known material has been released to date however. Reviews of the Verbatim Demo Tape described the music as 'pretty' and 'like Mogwai but more sparkly'. Has also been compared to Roy Montgomery. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
