English Version: Sling69 is a band from Laval, France. They began in October 2001 and found very quickly their sound: a kinda melodic punkrock between californian one and hardcore. Two years later, they recorded a first studio session and had the luck to see their song "prejudices" on "Independent 3" compilation (Enragé production), with bands as Uncommonmenfrommars, the Pookies, Sexypop, Kiemsa, ... Playing more and more, they met some bands on the road, as UMFM (again!), Homeboys, Sons of Buddha, Babylon Circus, Nosfell, ... They won 3 contests and are going to be on a fifth compilation. Motivation and work are their way of playing the music they wanna play, everywhere they can. See you on the road ! French Version: Formé à Laval en Octobre 2001, Sling69 développe un punk rock mélodique et puissant inspiré à la fois de punk californien et de hardcore. Deux ans après sa création, Sling69 enregistre une démo CD 4 titres (au studio ZED à Mayenne) dont le titre « Prejudices » fait son apparition dans les bacs en avril 2004 (Compilation « Indépendent 3 » de chez Enragé Production avec des groupes comme Kiemsa, Sexypop, The Pookies ou encore Uncommonmenfrommars etc…). Le groupe effectue, par la suite, quelques dates et rencontre sur la route des groupes comme Homeboys, Les Caméléons, Sons Of Buddha, Uncommonmenfrommars, Nosfell, Babylon Circus, H-F Thiéfaine, Les Vieilles Pies etc… Lauréat du tremplin « Espoir 2004 » des Herbiers et du tremplin « Découverte 53 », Sling69
