Slim Shine Musik Box is an alternative-funk-punk band formed in 1999 in Athens, Greece. The band consists of Chris Asteriou (bass), Nick Marinakis (drums), John 'johniethin' Maniatis (guitar) and Angelos Kallianos (vocals). One could describe their music as the meeting point of Red Hot Chili Peppers and the Clash, performed by a bunch of NYC rappers, considering the mc-oriented vocals of Kallianos. It is rumoured that their live shows, when characterised by professional sound engineering, really rock the shit out of the nightclubs, with their own stuff and some explosive covers. So far they have published a certain number of demos, having lately adopted a seriously groovin' personal sound. Their first official release is set for mid-2009...
