Slick and the Suits is a Dutch band from Zuid-Holland. In spring 2010, after the break-up of their former jazzband "Bourbon Street", Thomas Florusse, Lennart Visser and Freek Monster relaunched their musical project and founded a new band. What started out as a jam and coverband, soon turned into a serious musical challenge. They started writing own material and made up a bandname. In summer 2010, "Slick & the Suits" was born. After some months of playing with only 3, the guys thought about a 4th member. Thomas' brother Niels was brought in on bassguitar and backing-vocals. With the recording of an EP named "Out of the Box" , a radio-performance and playing some gigs, the guys just started their musical journey.
