SliP, the latest incarnation of Smog Metal, the original Sleaze from the Tees. www.myspace.com/slipmusic Forming in the depths of Teesside's indrustrial abyss, SliP promise to pave the way for a new breed of British Heavy Metal bands. Brought together with one common goal, band members Smithii, Danni, Steevii & J.J have already began playing packed out headline shows in their native North East, whilst also playing on the Middlesbrough Music Live Festival bill alongside some of the UK’s top acts. With debut E.P 'Violation' released, SliP are often described as a hybrid, taking influence from bands such as Skid Row and fusing it with the sound of modern day metal. Title track ‘Violation’ proves this and opens the E.P into a blistering onslaught of Gn’R inspired swagger, whilst injecting the powerful vocal and drum styles akin to those of The New Wave of American Heavy Metal. Posing something for every metal fan, young and old, SliP are ready to take on every corner of the UK and beyond!
