Sleeper Cell has been into the underground dance scene for many years. He attended the 1st Fantasia Donington Park event and from there on was smitten. He first started DJ’ing hardcore break beat in his home town Norwich (UK) then progressed onto the harder more modern Hardcore and Tekno when he moved to the Home Counties. After a period he had his first release on New Era Records and continued to work in the hardcore dance circuit, working closely with many artists Sleeper Cell started to develop his production skills. Learning Cubase with off-board hardware was where it all started in the early days which proved to be a long learning curve. After an extended break from production and playing out Sleeper Cell decided to return to music and looked to where it all started many years before BREAKBEAT. Sleeper Cell has always loved the routes of breakbeat and soon returned to these making drum & bass beats. He is inspired by such artists as Ed Rush, Optical and Andy C to mention a few. Sleeper Cell has had several releases and is signed to the following labels >DSCI4 >Sudden Def >Subculture >Close to Death >Contaminated Recordings >Flatline Records Through playing out at local gigs in the Home Counties Sleeper Cell bumped into Masheen and they discovered that they shared a passion for the same style of drum & bass.
