There have actually been 2 bands named Slamhound. 1.) Slamhound is a late 80's Los Angeles sleaze rock/glam punk band that Josh Todd from Buckcherry debuted in. They never got signed and broke up in the early 90's, but their demos continue to circle the internet. This band is a little more known than the other.... 2.) Slamhound was a melodic post-hardcore band from Southern New Jersey, active from 2002-2004. This project was fronted by Patrick O'Hare, a South Jersey musician who played in other well known acts around the area such as Veda Skyes, Makeshift Engineer, Naoya!, Astraea Recalling Rhea, The Turnpike Hustle, and as a musician is now referred to as the project name "The 90's Are The New 80's".
