Growing up in the southern suburbs of Paris, two brothers (Yann: keyboard and Vince: Voice/Keyboard) met Nico (Guitar) and Paul (Bass) in the school playground. This union creates a group in 2002 named HALO, which will inspire the different musical influences of the group members. For Yann and Vince a new wave/pop/rock inspiration, and for Nico and Paul rock/indie fusion. After working together for two years without results the group separates after Paul leaves for the states. In 2005 Skymobil is born with the final composition Vince/Yann/Nico, with Donna joining one year ago (Lyrics). Their musical influences are refined in order to produce the music of today, a punchy pop tainted with melancholic melody. After two and a half years of hard work on the 15th January 2008, the first 8 titles were put online on http://www.myspace.com/skymobil and on their official site http://www.skymobil.net. They are currently recording 4 further titles and a few acoustic versions. Just two weeks later, the group features in the top 50 artists in the PowerPop/Pop/Rock categories of Myspace France.
