Jemille Edwards, known as Skrilla, is a rapper based in Kensington, a neighborhood in Philadelphia, PA. He is best know for his song "Doot Doot" which went ultra-viral in 2025 launching the "6 7" meme. Otherwise, he is recognized for his ominous brand of Philly drill music, and his unorthodox rap flows and vocal style. Skrilla broke through in rap after a long string of singles, videos, and tapes spanning back to 2018, with songs like "Block Hot", "BLAHDAHDAHDAHDAH", and "GOD DAMN" in 2023-24. He would follow the success of these singles with the release of his first album, Underworld, on Priority Records. In November 2024, Skrilla would follow up with "Zombie Love Kensington Paradise" which would feature much bigger names like Lil Baby, Rob49, and Ybcdul.
